Every Whitworth Online applicant should start the financial aid process by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Federal loans allow you to defer payments for college costs at a significantly reduced interest rate. When filling out the online application, use Whitworth’s Title IV code: 003804.
For undergraduate students with financial need, as determined by information on the FAFSA and federal methodology. Pell Grants are based on Expected Family Contributions (EFC).
For undergraduate students with exceptional financial need, as determined by the information on the FAFSA and federal methodology.
For students who are enrolled in college to prepare for a career teaching in high-need fields such as math, science, foreign language, bilingual education, English language acquisition, special education or reading specialist.
This grant helps the state’s lowest-income undergraduate students pursue college degrees. Eligible students must have financial need as determined by the state’s formula and be a Washington state resident.
A limited number of non-renewable scholarships are available each semester for students enrolling in Whitworth Online for the first time. The amount of the scholarship varies based on available funds, from $500 to $1,000.
Scholarship deadlines:
Eligible students must be matriculated within Whitworth Online at least half time (six or more credits) and complete a FAFSA. Students must apply via the online scholarship application to be considered.
This scholarship offers a guaranteed $1,000 tuition discount for all teacher certification students during their final student teaching semester. No application required.
Further reduce your cost and time to completion by transferring credits you've earned at other colleges. We accept A.A. and A.A.S degrees, which could reduce your cost time to completion by half.
Many organizations will pay all or part of your tuition. If you have employer tuition benefits, Whitworth will accept payment directly from your employer.

Veterans and current members of the Armed Forces can receive substantial support for tuition and living expenses. Whitworth also offers the Whitworth Military Service Scholarship for veterans and their dependents whose tuition is not fully covered by VA benefits. To qualify, students must submit proof of military service (preferably Form DD-214) to the financial aid office.
